About the Role
As a Senior Manager at Frontec Financial, you will oversee and coordinate complex audit and financial management projects for federal clients. You will lead high-performing teams, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks aligned with mission-critical objectives. With a strong focus on client relationships, you will use your subject matter expertise to deliver audit readiness, internal control improvement, financial reporting, and risk mitigation services.
This role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on leadership. You’ll design and implement efficiency-boosting strategies, mentor staff, and serve as a trusted advisor to government agencies navigating compliance, transparency, and operational improvement.
Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, IT, Business, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 8 years of federal accounting experience performing at least one of the following:

Full life-cycle financial statement audits within the federal sector

Implementation of OMB A-123
-
FISMA/FISCAM reviews of financial, mixed, or non-financial systems
-
Federal audit readiness initiatives
-
At least 8 years of experience managing audits, internal control assessments, or serving as an SME for OMB A-123 and related reviews

Minimum of 3–4 years of specialized experience in federal audit and/or audit readiness

Demonstrated expertise preparing cycle memos, IT process narratives, testing general/application controls, and developing corrective action plans

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional leadership, team coordination, and client service ability

Proficient project management and organizational skills
-
CPA or CISA required
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Key Responsibilities

Manage and lead complex federal financial statement audits and OMB A-123 internal control assessments

Serve as a subject matter expert in internal controls, audit readiness, risk management, and financial process improvement

Lead cycle memo development, control testing, remediation strategies, and corrective action planning

Oversee FISMA/FISCAM reviews of financial and non-financial systems
-
Develop and implement team strategies to increase engagement efficiency and effectiveness
-
Provide mentorship, quality control, and performance feedback to staff

Maintain strong, ongoing communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and satisfaction

Deliver polished reports, narratives, dashboards, and presentations that communicate audit results and recommendations effectively
