About the Role

The Senior Information Technology (IT) Specialist provides high-level functional and technical analysis, design, development, integration, documentation, and implementation support for complex problems that require deep subject matter expertise for effective system deployment. As a Senior IT Specialist, you will participate in all phases of systems development and apply principles and methods from your functional area to solve complex technical challenges through automated solutions.

 

You will design and prepare technical reports and related documentation, create charts and graphs to record results, and deliver presentations and briefings as needed. Additionally, you may be asked to serve as a Project Manager when required.

Abstract Background

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT or ERP systems experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and client service abilities

  • Proficient in project management and technical documentation

  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the analysis, design, development, and implementation of IT and financial management systems

  • Apply principles and methods from your area of expertise to solve complex technical challenges and deliver automated solutions

  • Create technical documentation, including system reports, charts, visualizations, and briefing materials

  • Participate in all phases of systems development, with emphasis on planning, integration, testing, and user training

  • Collaborate with client and internal teams to align solutions with mission goals and operational requirements

  • Deliver presentations and conduct training sessions for technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Provide project oversight or serve as a Project Manager when required

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT solutions through innovation and data-driven decision-making
