

About the Role
As a Financial Consultant at Frontec Financial, you’ll support federal clients with a range of financial management services, including accounting operations, internal controls, ERP support, and audit readiness. This role combines day-to-day client interaction, financial analysis, documentation, and compliance support. You will also help translate financial data into meaningful insights that drive smarter business decisions across agencies.

Required Skills and Experience

BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, IT, Business, Finance, or a related field

At least 3 years of experience in accounting operations, financial reporting, or ERP support

Strong understanding of GAO, FASAB, OMB, and Treasury standards

Experience supporting audits, reconciliations, and internal controls

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with federal financial systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Key Responsibilities

Support financial operations, including accounting processes, reconciliations, and reporting

Assist in implementing and enhancing ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Momentum)

Prepare high-quality deliverables and documentation for audits and financial reviews

Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to support program goals

Analyze financial data and produce reports and insights that inform decision-making

Ensure compliance with applicable federal financial standards and procedures

Assist in audit readiness and corrective action tracking as needed
