Leadership Background
Peter Frontin has served as President of Frontec Financial (formerly Frontier Inc.) since November 2011. He is a dynamic, detail-oriented leader responsible for guiding the firm’s business development activities. Mr. Frontin brings extensive experience leading complex initiatives, including the establishment of innovative programs. As the first Chief Risk Officer at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), he founded the agency’s inaugural Operational Risk Management Office and spearheaded projects—such as implementing Dodd-Frank Financial Reform requirements—designed to create a more efficient organization.
Before joining the SEC and Frontier, Inc., Mr. Frontin provided consulting services to various federal entities through Arthur Andersen LLP, Oracle Corporation, and IBM Global Business Consulting Services. He specializes in complex financial, business-process, and technology-transformation initiatives, leveraging platforms such as Oracle’s Enterprise Resource Planning and supply-chain systems.
Mr. Frontin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
